GAMES

Saturdays – between 8:30 – 5:00

TEAM SIZE

8 – 12 players per team for K – 1st Grade – games are 4 x 4 (no score kept)

8 – 12 players per team for 2nd – 5th Grade – game are 5 x 5 (score kept)

Option A:

Registration fee, full uniform, trophies, practice facility, coaches, equipment.

****Special team trip to Warriors game (ticket included) – date to follow****

Includes our Annual Family Sports Day and Bar-B-Que on June 2, 2012 

Option B:

Includes all of the above minus Saturday games.   (Ideal for skiers and those with other weekend commitments)

Recreation Basketball League

BOYS & GIRLS (SEPARATE TEAMS), Grades K - 2

This CRSA Recreation League teaches the fundamentals of the game and develops skills in a fun and engaging environment. Each team has eight weekend games plus one practice day (Saturday and one weekday practice). Teams are formed according to the child's grade in school. Each participant receives a CRSA WARRIORS basketball uniform. The season ends with each player receiving a trophy at a team awards dinner. Divisions are grade-based.

 

Highlights of Grades K & 1:

  • Play on a smaller court, with four players on the court for each team.
  • They play on lowered baskets and no score is kept

Highlights of Grades 2:

  • Children move to a traditional five-on-five playing structure and begin to keep score.
  • They play on nine-foot baskets and there are no playoffs

Competitive Basketball League

BOYS & GIRLS (SEPARATE TEAMS), Grades 3 - 8

CRSA teams are entered in the PARK AND REC LEAGUE

League Format:

  • Regulation basket height (10 feet) for all grades
  • Adapted California high school rules
  • Middle School size court (approx. 79' x 46'
  • Guaranteed six regular season 
  • Divisions are grade-based
